Indications:

Treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism (HPT) in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) undergoing dialysis.

Mimpara can be prescribed as part of combination therapy including phosphate and/or vitamin D sterol binders (see Section "Pharmacological action").

Reduction of hypercalcemia in patients with:

parathyroid carcinoma.
